Responsibilities
You’ll handle a broad range of social work responsibilities, including safeguarding decision‑making and managing complex cases. You will apply relevant legislation, policy and best practice to make informed decisions that keep the work effective, legally compliant and focused on the best possible outcomes for children, young people and families.
Qualifications
* Knowledge and understanding of the Children Act 1989.
* Recognised Social Work qualification and current registration with the professional regulatory body.
Additional Requirements
This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services (previously the Criminal Records Bureau). Evidence of an overseas police check is required if you have lived or worked abroad.
Employment Details
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the position is part‑time or term‑time only. Sponsorship to work in the UK will be considered if you meet eligibility. Reasonable adjustments for disability can be requested.
