The role
A well-established and growing regional construction contractor is seeking a motivated Project Coordinatoror Assistant Project Manager to join their expanding team in Dorchester.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within construction management, with a clear progression route into Project Management.
Working across a variety of high-quality residential and commercial construction projects, you will play a key role in supporting project delivery from pre-construction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the successful delivery of construction projects
- Coordinating project documentation, schedules, and communications
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and site teams
- Assisting with procurement, project planning, and progress tracking
- Helping ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Candidate Requirements:
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Strong attention to detail
Desirable:
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous construction experience or trade background
- Exposure to project coordination, site administration, or similar roles
