Responsibilities include:
1. Under the guidance of experienced Systems Engineers, you will be developing skills in technical architecture and leadership through hands on live project work with the world’s largest vehicle manufactures.
2. You will be responsible for developing integration test methods for bringing together complex sub systems to fulfil end user system level functionality
3. You will be exposed to both HW and SW interfaces that require you to develop glue logic and tools for prototyping or exploring novel functional partitioning.
4. You will learn how to develop systems meeting internal and external customer requirements through functional trades and technical negotiation.
5. The role is particularly suited to individuals who are keen to develop / maintain skills in both HW and SW disciplines.
6. The role allows students to develop skills in the management of large data sets and the importance of clear interfaces in product development.
7. Occasional travel may be required to support Project deliverables and vehicle testing.

Essential Criteria:
13. Working towards a 2:1 degree in a Engineering or related discipline
14. Problem solving and judgement – ability to assess options and implications in order to identify a solution
15. Excellent written and verbal communication skills – clearly conveying and receiving messages to meet the needs of all
16. Effective time management skills
17. To work as part of a team to achieve results
18. Able to meet tight deadlines and work to targets
