This position is suited to a well-disciplined person with a methodical approach and an eye for detail, someone who is looking to advance within a growing organisation. This position is based in our Production Department and answers to the Factory Manager. Production Operative Responsibilities and Duties: Manual and automated assembly of various types of energetic products. Carefully following manufacturing processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs), whilst adhering to safe working practices. Good housekeeping is essential. It is important to always maintain an organised clean work area. Having responsibility for carrying out quality checks throughout the manufacturing operations to ensure quality is built in, and that any defects or concerns are highlighted and dealt with immediately. Production Operative qualifications and skills: Demonstrable experience in manufacturing operations is essential. (Specific job training will be given.) Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye co-ordination. Good practical and technical skills. Good communication skills, able to share information clearly.
