Radar ProgrammerWhiteley & Surrey (Predominantly remote)Up to £75,000 (DOE) Copello are pleased to be partnered with a global technology and consulting leader recruiting for a Radar Programmer to join their team The Radar Programmer will be working as a core member of a large team working on the one of the largest and most exciting transport enforcement systems projects globally. Leading on the development of embedded systems and radar devices, day to day responsibilities will include; Supporting the design of the enforcement speed violation equipmentDevelop, implement and commission equipmentWork closely with the customer to take requirements, and attend technical meetings and input as the Programming SMETroubleshoot equipment and work with multidisciplined teams to overcome and resolve challenges The successful Radar Programmer will have proven experience and knowledge within Radio/ Telecommunications and have demonstrable capabilities of developing embedded systems and radar devices. Leading the development, the Radar Programmer will lend on their extensive knowledge of C/C++ programming specifically within a Linux environment, as well as developing Linux drivers. Other experience we would be looking for includes; Knowledge of Continuous wave frequency modulated radar systems (FMCW)Knowledge of Doppler radar solutionsDSP/ Microcontroller programmingArchitecture concepts and tools, specifically Enterprise Architect/EA Working closely with the end customer, the Radar Programmer will need to be a natural communicator with an excellent ability to build relationships and effectively manage relationships with clients, contractors and other team members. This role will be based in Whiteley (Fareham) and will involve regular travel to Surrey. A large proportion of the role will be done remotely. It is an essential requirement for the successful applicant to have a valid driving license. Some knowledge of Spanish would be favourable but is not essential.
