Finance Manager
The Opportunity

As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a dynamic, commercially minded Finance Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accountant who enjoys working closely with clients, influencing decision‑making, and moving beyond traditional compliance‑led accountancy.
The Role
You will take a key role managing a portfolio of clients and acting as a trusted adviser to business owners and senior stakeholders. The role combines technical expertise with commercial insight and leadership.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Managing and developing a portfolio of owner‑managed and growing businesses
* Preparing and reviewing management accounts, forecasts, and budgets
* Providing commercially focused advice and insights to support client decision‑making
* Overseeing financial reporting, cashflow management, and KPI analysis
* Supporting clients with growth, structuring, and strategic planning
* Leading, mentoring, and developing junior team members
* Driving continuous improvement and embracing modern systems and technology
About You
We are looking for an experienced accountant who is confident, proactive, and commercially astute. You will ideally have:
* A clear commercial mindset and the ability to see the “bigger picture”
* Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing directly with clients
* Experience using cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
* A collaborative, hands‑on approach with strong leadership capability
* An appetite for change and a genuine interest in modern, tech‑enabled finance
