INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY TEAM LEADER - MENTAL HEALTH FLOATING SUPPORT - DONCASTER Location: DN5 4HZ Salary: £30,104.00 per annum Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Main Purpose: To assist the Service Manager in overseeing the Mental Health Floating Support service and the supported living service at Morley Road in accordance with Target Housing policies and procedures. Job Purpose / Key Responsibilities: Supervise, support, and mentor staff, ensuring competence and high-quality service delivery. Monitor performance against KPIs and quality standards, addressing issues proactively. Plan and follow up on actions from team, partnership, and referral meetings. Act as an ambassador for Target Housing, promoting the service and organizational values. Assist the Service Manager with audits, compliance, and service improvement initiatives. Support community outreach, including early intervention with mental health services and facilitating access to suitable housing. Ensure service users with care needs are signposted and supported through assessments. Maintain adequate staffing levels and cover sessions as required. Investigate complaints and implement improvements. Oversee referrals, allocations, tenancy compliance, and risk management. Monitor service delivery, support uptake, and maintain accurate records. Liaise with external agencies, stakeholders, and commissioners, preparing reports as needed. Ensure Health & Safety compliance and keep up-to-date with relevant legislation and good practice. Mediate tenant or neighbour disputes in line with organizational policies. Perform other duties as required to support the aims of Target Housing. Person Specification: Experience supporting vulnerable clients, including those with mental health needs. Knowledge of mental health, capacity, care, and housing legislation (Mental Health Act 2005, Mental Capacity Act 2008, Care Act 2014, Duty to Refer). Strong people and project management skills, with ability to meet deadlines and KPIs. Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
