We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a reputable organisation in the industrial and manufacturing sector. This role, based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting and finance. Description Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports. Process invoices, payments, and reconciliations in a timely manner. Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities. Monitor accounts receivable and payable to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve financial discrepancies. Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts for the department. Provide administrative support to the accounting and finance team as needed.Profile The successful candidate will have: A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Excellent organisational and time management skills. A keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial reporting. The ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues. Experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector is advantageous. Job Offer Salary: £29,000 - £33,000. 5% Bonus Scheme. 1pm finish on a Friday. Generous pension scheme with up to 6% employer match. 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays. Onsite role at the Newburn office in Newcastle Upon Tyne.I
