Reed Education is delighted to be partnering with a specialist Multi-Academy Trust in the Yorkshire area to appoint an outstanding and inspirational Chief Executive Officer.
This Trust provides high-quality education for children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and wider SEND. Their academies span Alternative Provision and specialist schools, with a strong track record of impact, rapid growth, and a deeply embedded nurturing ethos.
Since formation, the Trust has experienced significant expansion, increasing its number of academies and pupil numbers substantially, and now seeks a CEO who can lead the organisation into its next chapter of development, sustainability, and excellence.
About the Role
As CEO, you will:
* Lead and oversee the efficient, effective and compliant management of the Trust and its academies.
* Drive the Trust Board’s ambitions for sustainable growth and long-term development.
* Provide strong strategic, educational and organisational leadership aligned with the Trust’s core values.
* Ensure consistently high-quality educational outcomes through effective use of resources, people, and partnerships.
* Act as a clear advocate for young people with SEMH and SEND needs, representing their voices locally, regionally and nationally.
* Build a positive organisational culture underpinned by reflection, professionalism and continuous improvement.
This role requires a visionary, commercially minded, and emotionally intelligent leader who can navigate complex educational and financial environments with integrity and purpose.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking a leader who:
* Has proven experience leading a multidisciplinary organisation, ideally within or alongside the education or SEND sectors.
* Brings a commercially minded approach with strong strategic financial management experience.
* Can demonstrate high-level strategic planning, creative problem-solving and project leadership.
* Is skilled in building effective partnerships with local authorities, professionals, agencies and community stakeholders.
* Is passionate about inclusive education and the development of young people with additional needs.
* Is articulate, reflective, resilient and capable of inspiring confidence at all levels of the organisation.
* Can lead organisational change with compassion and clarity, while fostering a positive, sustainable staff culture.
