What's involved with this role: JOB TITLE: Business Administrator /Minute Taker REF: E Cheshire 5276386 Pay rate: £12.21 per hour PAYE, minimum wage may apply Contract Type: Temporary, Anticipated 6 months Working Arrangement: Site based between offices in Crewe and Macclesfield. The role: On behalf of a local council, we are seeking a Business Administrator to join a Families First Programme Management Office. You will be super organised, thrive working in a busy environment, and someone who is a great administrator with fantastic interpersonal skills and a ‘can do’ attitude. The role will involve arranging and supporting meetings and events, taking notes, gathering project information and producing project documents including presentations and spreadsheets, you’ll also help the Programme team in gathering progress updates on project activity. The ideal candidate would be flexible about where they’re based – the role will involve work in Crewe and Macclesfield. This is a temporary position, initially until 31 March 2026. The post holder will work within the Families First Programme Management Office but receive excellent support from their line manager who will be within the Children’s Development and Partnerships team. Previous experience of taking minutes is essential Key Responsibilities: Arranging and supporting meetings and events, including note-taking. Collecting and collating project information. Producing clear and accurate project documents, including presentations and spreadsheets. Gathering progress updates on project activities. Providing general administrative support to the Programme team. A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. Skilled in using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Flexible and willing to work across both Crewe and Macclesfield sites. Positive, adaptable, and solutions-focused with a real “can do” attitude.
