Overview:
To assist in building the business and ensuring the store is at the forefront of our customer's mindset. You will support the Store Manager and assistant manager in the day to day running of store ensuring to manage quality and consistency of O'Neills products and deliver an excellent standard of customer service.
Responsibilities:
Assist the management with the efficient day to day running of the Store.
Ensure an excellent standard of customer service is delivered within the store by all staff members at all times.
Assist with management of customer complaints/queries in an efficient yet professional manner.
Responsible for the opening/closing of store including all associated duties of a responsible key holder, when request to do so by management.
Assist the Store Manager in cash handling, till operation and ensure secure lodgements at all times.
Assist with all deliveries are accurately checked and booked on stock sales system.
Assist with merchandising of stock as per instruction by Management.
Supervising, monitoring and motivating staff.
Assist Store Manager with daily task list, ensuring the list is completed on daily basis in a timely manner.
Liaising effectively with the Store Manager and with all other Store Supervisors ensuring an efficient handover between shifts.
Working with all Managers to implement the company's policies and goals.
Support with staff training and development.
Keep up to date with sales materials and current product knowledge.
Ensure strong professional working relationships are maintained with all colleagues.
Ensuring that absenteeism and lateness is kept to a minimum.
Always maintain and adhere to the company quality standards set.
Responsible for ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
Ensure that Company policies are adhered to at all times within the department including but not limited to the Equal opportunities policy, Harassment policy, Health & Safety policy and Training policy.
Any other reasonable duty requested by Management
Essential
2 years Supervisory experience is essential
Previous experience supervising staff
Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to deliver an exceptional standard of customer service
Strong IT Skills using various software packages
Desirable
Qualification in Supervisory Management and/or Retail
Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills
