ROLE : Engineering Manager
SALARY : GBP 45,000: GBP 55,000 per annum, dependent on experience
TYPE : Permanent
LOCATION : Kidderminster
My client is a specialist manufacturer of Machinery and they are looking for an Engineering Manager to join their team in the Kidderminster area on a permanent basis.
The Engineering Manager Will Ideally Have The Following Attributes
: Experience in a similar Design Manager/ Engineering Manager role previously
: Degree qualified or similar in Mechanical Engineering
: Proficiency with using SolidWorks and Vault or similar
: Previous exposure to using MS Project would be ideal
: Strong leadership skills
: Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
The Engineering Manager Role Will Involve
: Leading and developing the design team
: Managing the delivery of engineering tasks / communicating with vendors and partners
: Always driving continuous improvement in the department
: Directly managing reports, setting KPI's and carrying out Reviews and training as required
: design and detail drawings using 3D CAD software
: Supporting the other platform design teams as necessary through collaboration with other colleagues
: Ensuring all work meets the relevant standards
: Ensuring compliance with their ISO standards
