Our Customer service team, based at our Head Office in Northwich in Cheshire, are looking for an experienced customer service representative to join the team on a contract basis for 6 months, working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Working in a B2B environment, the successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service for our British Salt business by ensuring accurate order processing, clear communication, and effective coordination with internal teams and logistics partners. This role ensures that all customer deliveries are fulfilled on time, in full, and in line with agreed service levels. This role is offered on a contract basis via our recruitment partner Morson, you will be paid weekly after submission of an approved timesheet. Key Responsibilities Process and manage all B2B customer orders using SAP HANA, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfilment. Verify pricing, and delivery requirements for customers. Maintain order integrity and contractual service levels. Work closely with the S&OP team to ensure stock availability meets customer delivery schedules. Escalate and help resolve any stock?related risks that could affect key accounts. Communicate proactively with customers to confirm or reschedule deliveries and manage order changes. Respond swiftly and professionally to enquiries from purchasing teams, planners, and site contacts. Build strong, long?term relationships that reflect British Salt's service standards. Liaise with the third?party logistics provider to ensure delivery capacity aligns with customer requirements. Log all customer complaints accurately into Sales Force and follow?up actions where necessary. Work cross?functionally to resolve issues impacting customer satisfaction. Raise credit and debit notes as required, following defined approval processes. Process returns from customers in line with British Salt procedures.
