🔧 What You’ll Be Doing
As our Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, you will:
1. Respond swiftly and safely to plant breakdowns, delivering high-quality repairs
2. Implement permanent solutions for temporary fixes to improve long-term reliability
3. Drive enhancements in plant performance and proactive maintenance
4. Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of our Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
5. Maintain accurate safety documentation and support root cause analysis to prevent reoccurring failures
🧰 What We’re Looking For
You’re an experienced mechanical maintenance professional with a passion for engineering excellence. You’ll bring:
6. Demonstrable experience in a similar maintenance role, including fabrication and welding
7. Strong knowledge of maintenance practices—hydraulics and pneumatics experience a plus
8. Apprentice-trained Level 3, ONC/NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
9. Familiarity with TPM methodology, Continuous Improvement, and predictive maintenance
10. Experience using CMMS systems and confidence in Root Cause Analysis
11. A self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
