Project Manager (MEP – Major Estates & Infrastructure)
Mech Electrics Limited are supporting a key client with a long-term programme of MEP works at Gatwick Airport. Due to continued growth and multiple projects across the campus, we are recruiting an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established and committed on-site team.
This role would suit a Project Manager from a building services background, or someone who has delivered MEP projects within airports, healthcare, MOJ, TfL, Crossrail or large estate environments.
Role responsibilities include:

Managing MEP projects from pre-construction through to handover
*
Acting as a client-facing representative on site
*
Full responsibility for health & safety, quality and programme delivery
*
Managing subcontractors, labour and supply chain
*
Ensuring CDM compliance and effective stakeholder engagement
Key requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering MEP works
*
Strong H&S culture and understanding of CDM regulations
*
SMSTS qualification
*
JIB 18th Edition
*
SAP HV/LV
*
Background in building services, major infrastructure or complex live environments
*
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Airport experience is highly desirable, though candidates from healthcare, MOJ, FM, TfL or Crossrail backgrounds will also be considered
