Salary: £20,685.60 – £21,057.40 per year (pro rata, experience dependent)
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, including weekends (1 in 3) and Bank Holidays (2 per year)

About the Role
As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across patient areas, clinical spaces, and communal zones. Your work will directly support infection control standards and contribute to a positive patient experience. The role includes weekend and holiday shifts on a rotational basis.

Responsibilities
* Clean patient rooms, clinical areas, and public spaces to high standards
* Follow infection control procedures and hygiene protocols
* Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively
* Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
* Work collaboratively with clinical and support staff
* Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
* Adhere to safeguarding policies and contribute to a safe environment
Qualifications
* Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred but not essential
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication and time management skills
* Willingness to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota
* Must have the right to work in the UK independently (visa sponsorship not available)
* Successful candidates will undergo pre-employment checks including an Enhanced DBS
