Responsibilities
* To take responsibility for the nurse led service for patients receiving systemic medication for a chronic skin condition (training provided)
* To deliver the range of services for patients with a range of dermatological conditions (training provided)
* To have knowledge to be able to tailor plans to respond to individual need
* To be able to formulate evidence‑based protocols to promote optimal patient outcomes
* To be aware of National Guidance pertaining to maintaining a safe working environment and to adhere to guidance relating to the use of safety equipment and safe maintenance of all equipment (e.g., medical physics)
* To teach and support peers and junior colleagues
* To lead/participate in audit and patient questionnaires
* To assess, plan, implement and evaluate care of patients throughout treatment to discharge
* To deliver high quality, evidence‑based practice in all aspects of nursing care
* To work collaboratively with colleagues and participate in service development
* To ensure that all written documentation and record keeping meets the standards set by the Trust and Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code
