Roles and Responsibilties
We don’t expect you to be the finished article on day one. If you bring the right attitude, commitment, and a willingness to grow, we’ll provide the training and support you need to thrive in this role.
In this role, you will:
· Manage and prioritise your caseload independently, while ensuring each patient receives excellent care.
· Support and mentor junior physiotherapists, offering guidance and sharing knowledge as a clinical leader.
· Play an active role in growing the clinic, contributing to team initiatives, training, and service development.
· Coordinate diagnostics and onward referrals, including arranging MRIs, X-rays, and specialist consultations.
· Deliver advanced treatments, including shockwave therapy (training can be provided if not yet confident).
· Use strong assessment and manual therapy skills to identify root causes and deliver effective treatment plans.
· Lead tailored 1-on-1 rehab sessions in our on-site gym.
· Conduct detailed biomechanical assessments and contribute to the ongoing development of our clinical offering.
· Understand and use internal and external referral pathways, ensuring the best outcomes for each patient.
· Confidently discuss service pricing and treatment plans with patients in a transparent and professional manner.
· Maintain accurate and thorough clinical records, documenting all treatments and communications clearly.
Skills & Qualifications
Essential:
· BSc in Physiotherapy with full HCPC/CSP registration or:
BSc in Sports Therapy
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
· Keen to take on a leadership and mentoring role within the clinic.
· Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
· Willingness to develop both clinically and professionally with ongoing support.
· Comfortable with manual therapy and confident in patient education.
Desirable (but not essential – training will be provided):
· Experience in private practice or sporting environments.
· Familiarity with shockwave therapy and advanced rehab techniques.
· MSc in Sports Medicine or related area.
· Interest in clinic development, service improvement, or team training.
