We are looking for a Learning and Development Manager to join our team. We are flexible on location commutable to any of our Scottish offices Job Purpose: The Learning and Development team works to create, curate, and provide a ‘best in class’ learning experience for all our people. Working closely with the Business Line and Support Function Heads, and other key leaders in the leading and managing people space, we review and address training and wider learning needs across our firm. The Learning and Development Manager will build and nurture a strong internal network, creating and sourcing effective learning solutions according to identified need. You will also work closely with external providers, building on existing and new relationships to deliver learning while monitoring and ensuring the quality and effectiveness of all delivery to our people. Key to this role will be overall management of our new Learning Management System (LMS) ensuring it meets the learning needs of our firm and our people. The Learning and Development Manager will be responsible for (but not limited to): Management of our (LMS) including supplier relationships Designing, sourcing and facilitating/delivering learning within the LMS and in other learning programmes in our firm Using a range of metrics, including the Personal Development Review process to review and identify learning needs, preparing an annual action plan to ensure those needs are met (including regulatory compliance with professional body and other CPD requirements) Monitoring completion of compliance-based training and working with our Governance, Risk, and Compliance team to ensure follow up where training is not completed Supervising all learning within the LMS including the e-learning modules, providing regular management information to inform senior leaders as to the learning and development of our people Collaborating closely with the wider Learning and Development team to improve internal processes Line Manage another member of the Learning and Development team, ensuring they keep accurate records of training activities, attendance and outcomes, developing their role to offer wider learning support to the firm as required. Working with the wider People Experience team to provide a meaningful and impactful service for all our people, aiming for ‘best in class’ at all times. About you: Experienced in training design and delivery with excellent facilitation skills Ability to manage and update programmes of learning. Creating, organising, updating, and delivering effective training/learning programmes and support materials. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Power BI Our ideal candidate must be an agile and proactive team member with strong engagement and problem-solving skills Excellent skills in networking and relationship building with internal and external stakeholders Ability to manage multiple demands and priorities while continuing to deliver high quality work Relevant qualification at degree level (or equivalent) a learning, HR, or business management-related discipline is desirable or experience of working in a learning/teaching environment Willingness to live our Values every day, leading by example and demonstrating excellence through the outcomes achieved by the People team.
