We are currently representing one of the UK’s leading residential property lettings and management companies, sourcing an Accounts Assistant to join the team in a permanent role.
This full-time role reports to the Finance Team Leader and will give you excellent experience working in a busy finance team.
The role is based in their offices near Torquay 2-3 days a week with the option to work remotely for the other days.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Processing supplier invoices in line with company standards.
* Council tax and utility administration.
* Monitoring emails.
* Contacting suppliers for missing invoices.
* Raising fees to clients.
* Assisting with payment runs.
* Posting tenant receipts.
* Lodging tenant deposits.
* Processing tenant refunds.
* Raising tenant charges and reconciling accounts.
* Bank reconciliations.
* Running reports and landlord statements.
* Dealing with internal queries.
* Any other ad hoc duties as required.
CANDIDATE PROFILE / REQUIREMENTS
* GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 preferred but equivalent work experience would be considered
* AAT Level 2 or relevant work experience is desirable
