Electrical Installation Lecturer
Wigan and Leigh College are looking to appoint a highly motivated and creative Electrical Installation Lecturer to deliver both full-time and part-time programmes. We offer C&G and EAL qualifications within the department, ranging from level 1 to level 3. For part-time apprentices, we deliver the NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems as part of the Electrical Installation apprenticeship framework, in collaboration with the college's Business Services department (assessing apprentices in the workplace). The College is an exciting place to work as the provision expands, and the delivery of Electrical Installation is central to this development as we transition to apprenticeship standards.
Wigan & Leigh College’s philosophy emphasizes outstanding teaching and high achievement to prepare students for the workforce. Our staff play a key role in this mission by working with employers and apprentices in the workplace and delivering high-quality classroom teaching.
If you are interested in moving into lecturing from industry or are a newly qualified teacher passionate about sharing your expertise, we will support you in developing the skills and experience to become an inspirational and effective teacher.
