The Package Engineer Role
As a vital member of our project team, reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will:
* Oversee the design, coordination, and management of various subcontractors.
* Interface with internal departments and external agencies, including Architects, Engineers, and Site Staff.
* Ensure SRM obligations to subcontractors are understood and fulfilled.
* Organize and conduct regular site progress meetings to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
* Keep the Chief Engineer and Project Manager/Director updated on all project issues.
Your Profile
Key areas of focus will be setting out. Ideally, you will:
* Hold a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Be able to prepare a 3-week look-ahead programme with the assistance of a project planner.
* Have proven experience in package management.
* Possess experience as a Temporary Works Coordinator (advantageous).
* Be knowledgeable about building products, construction details, and relevant regulations.
* Have or be working towards a construction industry-related professional membership (e.g., ICE, CIOB, RICS).
