Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role involves providing high-quality care and education to young children, fostering their development through engaging activities and a nurturing environment.
Duties
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the nursery.
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
* Collaborate with other staff members to create a supportive and inclusive environment for all children.
* Assist in managing daily nursery operations, including supervising staff and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members, fostering a positive team dynamic.
Skills
* Strong management and leadership abilities to oversee nursery operations effectively.
* Proven experience with children in a childcare or nursery setting.
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
* Ability to drive is advantageous for transporting children or materials as needed.
* A caring attitude towards children, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding.
