Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced and dedicated Teacher of Religious Education to join a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Lancashire from May Half-Term 2026.
This Ofsted-rated ‘GOOD’ school is highly respected for its inclusive ethos, strong pastoral culture, and commitment to delivering high-quality teaching across the curriculum. The successful candidate will be joining a supportive Humanities department with a track record of strong outcomes and collaborative practice.
The Role:
Full-time teaching of RE across Key Stages 3 and 4
Deliver inspiring, engaging, and thought-provoking lessons in line with the RE curriculum
Contribute to the wider school community and support the school’s vision and values
Take responsibility for planning, marking, assessment, and progression of pupils
Promote a respectful, reflective classroom environment where pupils can explore beliefs, values, and worldviews
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Be an experienced Religious Education specialist
Hold QTS
Demonstrate strong classroom management and excellent subject knowledge
Have a passion for RE and a commitment to helping pupils develop critical thinking and moral understanding
Bring dedication, reliability, and a proactive approach to teaching and learning
