Trainee Teaching Assistant – Redcar TS10 area £92.56 per day Are you looking to begin a career in education? Do you enjoy supporting children and helping them achieve their potential? No previous experience or qualifications are required – just enthusiasm, commitment, and a genuine passion for supporting children. Experience within education, care, youth work, coaching, or similar settings can be beneficial, but is not essential. Please note that all successful candidates will be required to obtain an Enhanced DBS check (£58.50) and subscribe to the DBS Update Service (£16). Working in partnership with local schools, we provide high-quality training and paid school-based experience to support you in becoming a successful Teaching Assistant. Following a successful interview and completion of suitability, safeguarding, and identity checks, we will work to secure you a paid placement within a school in the Redcar TS10 area, where you can develop your skills and gain valuable classroom experience. We will support you in building your confidence as an educator and help you explore opportunities across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Before beginning your placement, you will complete a comprehensive training programme delivered by Vision for Education and experienced school leaders. This training will equip you with the knowledge and practical skills needed to succeed as a Teaching Assistant. Teaching Assistants play a vital role in the day-to-day success of schools. Successful candidates will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine interest in supporting children's learning and development. They must also be able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families. The role of a Teaching Assistant can vary between schools and may include: Supporting teachers during whole-class lessons Delivering small group interventions Providing one-to-one support for pupils Assisting with classroom organisation and learning activities Helping to create an inclusive and positive learning environment Please note that roles are offered on a supply basis and do not guarantee a permanent position.
