Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed CBT Therapist/Psychologist to join the Hospital Liaison Psychiatry service (Pembury and Maidstone Hospitals). This is a key role within the clinical team of the Liaison service, supporting mental health care within general hospital settings.
Responsibilities
* Offer high quality assessment and brief interventions with a focus on people in distress related to mental and physical health conditions.
* Contribute to the development of clinics, provide consultation, and support teaching within the multidisciplinary hospital team.
* Receive regular supervision and team support to develop your practice in Liaison Psychiatry and to support the MDT in delivering quick, effective, accessible services.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
* Specialist postgraduate CBT qualification with BABCP registration OR a doctoral-level or equivalent BPS approved qualification in Clinical/Counselling Psychology with HCPC registration.
* Experience across clinical settings with the ability to support people in acute distress.
Desirable Experience
* Previous A&E Liaison or long-term conditions experience.
