My client who is based in Hull, is looking to recruit an experienced accounts candidate to join the team to cover maturmaternitynity leave. You will be required to work around 24 hours a week.
Job Description
* Support in preparation and maintenance of financial records
* Assist in monthly account reconciliations and reporting
* Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes
* Help in processing invoices, payments and expense claims
* Handle financial queries, providing accurate information
* Work collaboratively with the finance team to meet deadlines
* Support in audit processes by providing required documentation
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
The Successful Applicant
* A strong foundation in accounting principles
* A good understanding of financial software applications
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills
* A meticulous approach to work with high attention to detail
* Able to multitask and prioritise workload
* Good communication skills to liaise with various departments
* A team player mindset with a commitment to achieving team goals
* A relevant academic qualification in accounting or finance
