Joining as a 2nd Line IT Engineer, you'll provide advanced technical support for escalated issues across a multi-site network. You'll troubleshoot hardware and software problems, support infrastructure upgrades, mentor 1st line support, and maintain system performance across servers, applications, and networks. What will you need? A minimum of 3 years' experience in IT support, ideally in a second-line role Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 Hands-on experience with Active Directory, including Azure AD Solid understanding of core networking protocols - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and VLANs Practical knowledge of Cisco Meraki for switches, firewalls, and wireless networks Familiarity with virtualisation technologies, especially Hyper-V Confident using ITSM tools (such as Atera or Jamf) to manage and resolve support tickets Strong communication skills and a proactive, customer-focused attitude Full UK driving license with flexibility to travel to other UK sites when needed What would be desirable?
