The Placement Opportunity We are offering exciting Business & Marketing University Placements for two motivated and commercially curious students looking to gain real-world experience in a fast-growing e-commerce environment. This placements provide hands-on exposure across both commercial operations and integrated marketing, giving you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the business while developing highly transferable skills. Key Responsibilities Both will be a varied role and will include, but not limited to: Marketing & Brand Development • Supporting brand marketing initiatives across digital channels • Content creation for website, email, and social media • Assisting with PR activity and promotional campaigns • Supporting direct marketing initiatives (email and customer communications) • Contributing to SEO activity, including keyword research and on-page optimisation • Using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to analyse website performance and user behaviour • Conducting consumer behaviour research to inform marketing and product decisions • Supporting social media marketing, including content planning and performance tracking • Assisting with partnership development and influencer outreach Business & Commercial Support • Working on product offering and pricing strategy • Supporting improvements to internal systems and processes • Gaining exposure to logistics and supply chain operations within an e-commerce business • Assisting with analysis of sales data, trends, and competitor activity • Contributing to both weekly operational tasks and longer-term strategic projects What You’ll Gain By the end of your placement, you will have a strong understanding of how a specialist e-commerce business operates end-to-end — from marketing strategy and commercial decision-making through to logistics and execution. You will gain practical, transferable experience in: • Integrated marketing and brand management • Commercial and sales analysis • Business administration and operations • Project management and cross-functional working • Data-driven decision-making This placement is designed to be hands-on, developmental, and genuinely impactful. Who You’ll Work With You will work closely with and be supported by: • The Director, on commercial strategy and operations • The Head of Marketing, on integrated marketing activity • Other students on placement • The creative and technical team • The sales team Who We’re Looking For Students who are: • Studying a degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related subject • Commercially curious with a strong interest in premium brands and food & drink • Organised, proactive, and eager to learn • Comfortable working with data and digital tools • Strong communicators with attention to detail The role is for a fixed term of 6 months. It will be a fully remote role working with regular team status meetings and briefings via zoom.
