IT Manager
Central Essex - 4x days a week
A leading distributor of apparel & fashion accessories is looking for a technical IT Manager to join them.
You will take ownership of their internal IT estate and support a fast‑moving operational environment at their Essex HQ. Working closely with the Operations & Systems Director, you will play a key role in modernising networks, enhancing security, and driving continual service improvement across the business.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands‑on; managing infrastructure, improving systems, and ensuring staff have the tools they need to succeed. You will lead day‑to‑day IT operations while delivering small‑to‑medium projects, from network upgrades to system integrations.
The environment is diverse and fast‑paced, so the successful candidate will need solid technical grounding, strong communication skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
You will ideally be in a Senior IT Support or Team Lead role currently, looking to take the next step up into an IT Management position. Initially 80% hands‑on, transitioning more towards management as the team grows.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
* Experience supporting hardware, software and connectivity issues (1st‑3rd line support).
* Highly organised, proactive, and confident in prioritising tasks in a busy setting.
