Job Overview
To prepare, organise and facilitate the Lung Enhanced & Nodule Pathway MDT meeting to ensure that all relevant information is available for discussion. To set up and participate in MS Teams MDT sessions, recording all outcomes. The post holder will provide administrative support for the multidisciplinary teams and work closely with clinical teams and cancer services. Responsible for ensuring that all patients on the enhanced cancer pathway are proactively tracked through the appropriate patient pathway from point of entry.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, organise and facilitate Lung Enhanced & Nodule Pathway MDT meetings.
* Set up and participate in MS Teams MDT sessions, recording all outcomes.
* Provide administrative support to the multidisciplinary teams.
* Track patients on the enhanced cancer pathway and monitor their progress.
* Collaborate closely with clinical teams and cancer services.
Qualifications and Experience
* Educated to minimum GCSE level or equivalent.
* Experience managing patient pathways, including cancer pathways.
* Proficient in MS Office packages, Trust Packages, Lorenzo, ERS, iCris.
* Strong understanding of cancer pathways and guidelines.
* Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines involving high volumes of data.
* Experience working in the NHS or similar healthcare environment.
* Excellent verbal/written and interpersonal skills.
* Medical terminology knowledge, excellent typing and keyboard skills.
* Methodical, able to prioritise own workload and adapt to change.
* Confidentiality and sensitivity of approach.
* Analytical skills, computer literacy and numeracy.
* Situational awareness and applied good decision making.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary and Benefits
Salary: £28,392 - £31,157 per annum, pro rata. High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of basic salary (minimum £1,346, maximum £2,270 per annum pro rata). Working hours follow the standard NHS rota and flexible working arrangements are considered formally.
