Graduate Laboratory Technician

To carry out Lab production duties and projects, working flexibly and maintaining the highest possible skill and productivity levels in all areas of production. Assist the Laboratory Supervisor with daily operations. To carry out QC testing and maintain QC records. To train others to achieve high competency levels.

* Assist Laboratory Supervisor to ensure work meets health and safety requirements, is done on time and to required quality standards
* Deputise for the Laboratory Supervisor to ensure work continues to be carried out to a high standard
* Ensure all work is done to correct quality standards, completed on time and without error, and with the minimum of supervision and monitoring
* Learn new work techniques, formulations, processes and train others
* Maintain accurate records for stock control, QC testing and production monitoring purposes
* Carry out other production duties in different departments as required
* Identify new methods of working and improve working practices in collaboration with other team members and production management
