Occupational Health Advisor Hybrid Role – Home Work with weekly travel to Southampton

You will be able to make a difference in the health and wellbeing of our people by providing skilled and professional support and guidance. Working alongside a team of health professionals, and reporting to the Senior Occupational Health Adviser, you will help deliver a full occupational health service, with a special focus on wellbeing, to promote and maintain good health and wellbeing. WHAT YOU’LL DO
1. Support the delivery of key projects and initiatives relating to health and wellbeing, including a wellbeing champion network, providing them with support, guidance and continuous development. Continually review and evaluate the impact of our wellbeing programme to ensure it meets our People needs.
2. Health Surveillance
3. Case management including Sickness Absence Management
4. Fitness for Work assessments
5. Return to work assessments
6. Travel Health
7. Promote workplace wellbeing including presentations
8. Support employees, managers and HR with health advice
9. Co-ordination of externally trained first aiders at work
10. Remote role with travel to Southampton one day per week and occasional travel within UK
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
11. Registered Nurse with current NMC accreditation.
12. Occupational Health and/or Community Nurse experience
13. Someone who is able to demonstrate a keen interest in Wellbeing
14. Team player who is looking to expand their Occupational Health experience
15. Team player who enjoys sharing their knowledge
16. Someone who enjoys using their own initiative
17. Ability to deliver sound clinical advice remotely
18. Good communication skills
It would be good if you had:
19. Knowledge of current employment law and health and safety legislation
20. Knowledge of health surveillance
21. Knowledge of online OH systems
22. Experience of strategising & delivering wellbeing in the workplace
