THE ROLE
The UK India Business Council is seeking a proactive, detail‑oriented Events Executive to play a key role in delivering high‑impact events across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is highly organised, tech‑savvy, and confident in engaging with stakeholders.
The successful candidate will support end‑to‑end event planning, coordinate administrative tasks, and help create experiences that strengthen UK–India business relationships. They will contribute to UKIBC's busy calendar of events, including high‑level roundtables, conferences, networking receptions, delegations, seminars, and internal meetings in the UK. This role spans the full events lifecycle from concept development, planning, logistics, vendor coordination, administrative and marketing support, to onsite delivery. As part of a dynamic team, the candidate will play a vital role in enhancing UKIBC's influence and deepening engagement with government, industry, and members.
KEY Responsibilities
Event Planning & Deliver
· Support the development of event concepts, timelines, budgets, and planning documents to ensure smooth end‑to‑end delivery
· Support the execution of high‑quality events across the UK and India, from roundtables to large‑scale conferences
Logistics & Vendor Management
· Coordinate venue bookings, supplier negotiations, and vendor contracts to secure cost‑effective and high‑quality event services
· Liaise with external partners to ensure all logistics including catering, equipment, and hospitality
Event Operations & Administration
· Manage administrative tasks such as delegate registration, speaker coordination, and preparation of event materials and resources
· Provide onsite operational support to ensure events run smoothly and meet expected standards
Marketing & Engagement
· Assist with event communications, including drafting invitations, managing mailing lists, and supporting promotional activities
Post‑Event Activities
· Support post‑event follow‑up, including updates to systems, sending thank‑you notes, and consolidating feedback from participants
· Contribute to post‑event reporting and evaluations to improve future event delivery and impact

Proficient in Canva and Microsoft Office
Comfortable with technology, new platforms, and AI tools
