SEMH Learning & Behaviour Mentor Primary & Secondary | Flexible & Long-Term Opportunities Are you a calm, confident and relatable role model who can build trust with young people who've had a tough start? We're looking for Learning & Behaviour Mentors to support children and young people within a specialist SEMH setting in Bristol. This role is ideal for someone who understands that behaviour is communication, and who can offer consistency, boundaries, humour and genuine care in equal measure. This provision is particularly keen to welcome positive mentors who can engage, motivate and inspire boys across both primary and secondary age ranges. About the Young People The children and young people you'll support typically have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, often alongside additional needs such as: ADHD / ADD Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) Trauma and attachment difficulties Anxiety, emotional regulation challenges and low self-esteemMany of these pupils have experienced disrupted education, including exclusion or breakdowns in mainstream settings.
