About this role
We are seeking a senior technician in biosciences to work with a team of technicians, researchers, and academics at the Health Tech Hub at UWE, Bristol. The facility includes laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for assay development, sensor research, and prototype design. The role involves contributing to research outputs on projects related to biosensors, diagnostics, and health monitoring technologies.
About you
You should be enthusiastic and committed to working in a team to develop new healthcare solutions. Candidates must have a degree in biosciences or equivalent experience, with high-level technical skills in their specialist area. Experience in biochemical and immunochemical methodologies, data analysis skills, and a flexible approach to challenges are essential.
This position is based at our lively Frenchay campus.

This is a 1-year fixed-term, full-time position. It is available on a job share basis for part-time applicants.
