Our team welcomes you to the Audi F1 Project, where Audi will compete in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. The team has three locations: the Motorsport Competence Center of Audi in Neuburg (Germany), the Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland), and the Sauber Motorsport Technical Center in the UK, which will be operational this year. Our Power Unit is developed in Neuburg, while Hinwil focuses on chassis development and race operations.
We are looking for individuals with an athlete's mindset—those who see limits as challenges to overcome—to bring Vorsprung durch Technik to Formula 1. Join us in this unique project and make motorsport history.
The position is based at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg, Germany, starting January 1, 2026. In the Energy Recovery System (ERS) division, you will support the department management in developing and testing key components that enhance power unit performance and competitiveness on the racetrack.
Your Mission
* Support the ERS department head as an interface between development departments and workshop
* Assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing ERS development projects (including premises and target setting, monitoring)
* Help in budget planning for ERS development projects
* Coordinate test and deployment planning for ERS components across departments
* Assist in planning the assembly of components with responsible teams and workshop
* Participate in optimizing development processes and methods
* Analyze technical data and prepare progress reports
* Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
Your Profile
* Degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a similar field
* Experience in motorsport or electric drive systems development, especially in project management or coordination
* Development experience with electric drive systems for motorsport or similar environments
* Excellent organizational skills and team spirit
* Analytical thinking and structured working approach
* Passion for motorsport and innovative technologies with high commitment
* Proficiency in German or English, with willingness to learn the other language
