An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join a highly rated primary school in Ellesmere Port. This school is seeking a hardworking, ambitious and inspiring Teaching Assistant to become a part of their team. This role will be within a mainstream primary setting who pride themselves on having a happy and positive approach to learning and helping give pupils the best start in their academic lives.
Your new role
As a key stage 1 Teaching Assistant your main role will be to provide support and guidance to pupils to ensure they are able to fully access curriculum and enjoy their education. The role is to support children in their learning and behavioural needs, and you will play a massive part in their development and success. You will support the teacher with the delivery of lessons, both inside and outside the classroom, whilst also supporting the pupil's wellbeing.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful with your application you will need:
* Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, ideal but not essential.
* You will need to have experience of working with children within the last 2 years.
* You should feel confident working with children in small groups or in a 1:1 setting.
* You should have a mature and professional attitude towards work.
* You will need to be able to communicate comfortably with teachers, parents and pupils.
