1:1 Support Assistant – Full-Time (Durham)
Location: Durham
Pay: £90–£110 per day
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
We’re looking for a dedicated 1:1 Support Assistant to work closely with an individual pupil who requires consistent, personalised support.
You’ll help the pupil access learning, manage emotions and navigate the school day in a supportive, structured environment. Building trust and understanding is central to this role.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing 1:1 support throughout the school day
• Supporting learning tasks and classroom engagement
• Helping manage behaviour and emotional regulation
• Encouraging independence and confidence
• Working closely with teaching and SEN staff
This role suits someone calm, reliable and nurturing.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
