Once they reach three years old, children transition into the pre-school phase of their education, where they can confidently build on their abilities. *Key Responsibilities:* * Lead and manage staffing, induction, training, and development to ensure the highest standards of care. * Oversee systems for accurate reporting, monitoring, and assessment of nursery activities. * Manage occupancy levels and financial budgets to meet targets and ensure smooth operations. * Ensure the accuracy and consistency of the Connect Childcare database system. * Guarantee extra-curricular activities meet the requirements of the EYFS framework. * Ensure all rooms comply with staff ratios and staffing deployment regulations. * Take full responsibility for safeguarding and child protection to ensure the safety and well-being of all children. * Lead the delivery of the EYFS curriculum and ensure it is effectively implemented across all age groups. * Liaise with external professionals when necessary to support the development and needs of children. * Work closely with the SENDCo to support children with additional needs. * Ensure the nursery follows a robust and safe recruitment process. * Manage weekly staff rotas and attendance registers for both staff and children. * Uphold and enforce the nursery's policies and procedures, ensuring a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment. * Monitor and promote the physical health and well-being of all children in the nursery. *What We Offer:* * Paycare Medical Cover -contributions towards everything from dental and optical cover to free same day GP appointments and Lifestyle Assessment. * MyGym / MyActive discounts – up to 25% off your monthly gym fees and from all your gym clothing and equipment.
