Project Manager (OHL) North East / Yorkshire Permanent £55k - £62.5k Car/Car Allowance Flexible Benefits Summary Freedom's Networks team have a vacancy for Project Manager. The main purpose of the role will be to manage the OHL works programme involving low and high voltage rebuilds, refurbishment schemes across the North Yorkshire region. Project Management of all OHL works, ensuring that work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures and client specifications; Ensure compliance with all street works regulations; Maintaining a full programme of works ensuring all operatives work to their full productivity levels; Ensure all completion documentation is submitted to management in a timely manner; Liaising with client contract coordinators, council staff and engineers; Dealing with the general public as required. Some of the key deliverables in this role will include: Manage multiple/major projects from Cradle to Grave safely, competently and effectively to time and budget; Manage all financial aspects of projects, including the costing and invoicing of any additional works; Provide guidance to team members to ensure the safe, effective and efficient implementation of Freedom’s operations; Monitor and report on progress of work to the customer as required; Provide guidance on and monitor your team’s approach to safety rules and procedures, method statements and risk assessments; Liaise with third parties to ensure the smooth implementation of work; Maintain site safety at all times and complete risk assessments; Report any concerns regarding SHE to the SHE team; Manage and review performance of staff reporting to you and identify training needs; Conduct site safety and 1 in 10 inspections and ensure remedial actions are undertaken; Ensure that all statutory records, certificates, licences, notifications and notices are in place; Prepare project Safety, CDM plans and Risk Assessments as part of the overall programme. What we’re looking for : Substantial experience of project management; Knowledge of distribution OHL networks distribution OHL networks Sound understanding of the financial aspects of projects; Sound knowledge of Health & Safety and its practical implications; CDM knowledge; NVQ / ONC / HNC or above in a relevant subject; IOSH, NEBOSH, SMSTS or other safety related qualification; NRSWA accredited; A formal project management qualification is preferred; NPG authorisations would be beneficial.
