TRAINING OPPORTUNITY for Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) – Health Visiting September 2026 intake.

* MSc/Post Graduate Diploma (PGDip)
* Fixed Term contract/secondment opportunity
* 3x Posts available - full time 37.5 hours a week (fixed term for 12 months)
Eligibility
* Applicant must be an NMC registered nurse (Level 1) or NMC registered midwife capable of safe and effective practice at the level of proficiency appropriate to the NMC approved Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) programme.
* Must have a live registration on either the first or second part of the NMC register and a BSc or BA (Hons) degree. Learners can apply with a degree in any discipline but healthcare related is preferred. If candidates do not have a degree, they may still be eligible.
* Applicants must meet home student requirements (minimum 3 years residency in the UK) to be eligible for sponsorship.
Internal applicants who wish to be considered for a secondment opportunity should discuss with their line manager the suitability of a possible secondment.
Applications are invited for those who are willing to undertake the MSc/Post Graduate Diploma in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing, leading to registration as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visiting) with NMC.
