Hays are partnering with a healthcare organisation to recruit for a Clerical Officer on a temporary basis, based in Downpatrick. This role is 30 hours per week, across 4 days.
Your new role
Cover telephone reception, managing a high volume of calls and frequently demanding or difficult calls.
Check CCG for incoming referrals on a daily basis.
Follow ISO procedure re referral management.
Create CMHT patient file, with referral paperwork and allocate patient number.
Ensure files are available for clinic.
Format, print and forward outcome letters to GP and relevant HCPs.
Photocopy and maintain patient information leaflets.
Import documents (i.e., re-assessments, prescriptions) on Maxims.
Allocate routine appointments on calendar and Maxims.
Cover reception. Maintain and archive patient files.
What you'll need to succeed
Minimum of 1 year's experience in an administrative role
Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel and Outlook
Excellent communication skills
What you'll get in return
£12.21 per hour
Temporary ongoing
Downpatrick based
30 hours per week (Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri)
