Summary
Trade Counter Assistant / Driver. Hours: 44 per week (7 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays on rota).
Responsibilities
* Lead by example and work closely with the Branch Manager and Branch Supervisor in day‑to‑day branch operations.
* Trade counter sales to achieve sales targets, confidently communicating product knowledge to customers.
* Provide exceptional customer service and support to new and existing customers.
* Picking, loading and delivering products to customers via Eurocell’s 3.5‑tonne flatbed trucks and LWB vans.
* Route planning, safe driving and maintaining the cleanliness of the company vehicle.
* Support the Branch Manager with actions and activities on time, in full.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety, company policies and procedures.
* Maintain branch standards, including warehouse and stock management, front‑of‑house cleanliness, and point of sale.
* Assist with the delivery of branch operations and support colleagues as required.
Qualifications

* Hands‑on, customer‑focused approach with confidence to serve and proactively engage customers.
* Commercial mindset to drive sales, maximise margins, and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise and use own initiative.
* Confident IT user with experience of MS Office and industry‑standard software (e.g., SAP).
* Full and valid driving licence; FLT licence an advantage.
* Previous branch stock‑take experience is advantageous.
* Comfortable working in a small team and occasionally on one’s own.
* Experience in a similar role in a trade / builders / merchant / retail, glazing or uPVC environment is an advantage.
