Workshop Electrical Technician – Aberdeen (Onshore)

Join a leading energy-sector organisation as a Workshop Electrical Technician and play a key role in supporting cutting-edge downhole technology. You’ll be part of a tight-knit, high-performing team working in a fast-paced onshore environment — with occasional travel.
MUST be willing to work overtime, including short-notice call-outs.
What you’ll do:
* Maintain, repair and prepare specialist intervention equipment
* Work safely to company and HSE standards
* Test and troubleshoot electronics (including ATEX prep)
* Use electrical test equipment confidently
* Complete reports, records and quality-focused tasks
* Assemble, mobilise and ship equipment for offshore operations
* Operate forklifts (training provided)
* Participate in the on-call rota
What you’ll bring:
* Electrical or electronic maintenance background (oil & gas experience a bonus)
* Confidence with testing instruments and reading electrical diagrams
* A proactive, hands-on attitude and ability to work under pressure
* Strong IT skills (Word, Excel)
* Full driving licence and right to work in the UK
* Interest in advanced downhole robotic technology
* ATEX certification beneficial (training available)
