An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Truck Sales Administrator to join our team at our DAF Huyton Depot site. Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Ensure the dealership’s sales department records and systems are maintained accurately and comprehensively.
2. Ensure seamless integration between the dealership’s systems and those of the manufacturer or distributor.
3. Process all transactions and maintain records with precision and clarity.
4. Regularly update and verify vehicle and customer records to ensure accuracy.
5. Provide a consistently professional and welcoming reception for all visitors.
6. Promptly address customer needs while they await assistance from a Sales Executive or Manager.
7. Accurately record and relay messages to the relevant personnel.
8. Ensure all outgoing sales correspondence is dispatched promptly.
9. Handle telephone enquiries efficiently, considering peak periods.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Maintain the highest standards of personal presentation and hygiene.
2. Possess clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
3. Demonstrate experience in handling administrative processes and paperwork.
4. Possess a working knowledge of manufacturer systems and dealership documentation requirements, with prior experience in systems such as Kerridge or VSB being essential.
5. Exhibit a calm, organised approach to problem-solving in a high-pressure sales environment with a varied workload.
6. Be numerate and literate to a level suitable for the responsibilities of the role.
7. Present a friendly yet professional approach to visitors and colleagues.

HOURS OF WORK:

Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm, 35 hours per week, 1 hour lunch break (unpaid)
