Nursery Nurse x2 – Haringey We are currently seeking two caring and enthusiastic Nursery Nurses to join welcoming and well-established nurseries across Haringey. This is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated early years practitioners who are passionate about supporting young children’s development and helping them build confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. As a Nursery Nurse, you will work closely with the nursery team to create a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating environment where children can learn through play and exploration. Key Responsibilities Support daily routines and activities as a Nursery Nurse, ensuring a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment for all children. Plan and deliver play-based learning activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Provide high-quality care and supervision, supporting children’s wellbeing and development. Support children’s social, emotional, and behavioural development, promoting confidence and independence. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support children’s learning and day-to-day routines. Build positive relationships with parents and carers, supporting effective communication. Observe and monitor children’s progress, contributing to assessments and records. Ensure safeguarding procedures and health and safety requirements are always followed. The Ideal Candidate Will Have A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3). Experience working within a nursery or early years setting. A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A good understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
