We are currently recruiting for a professional, family led company based in the Dover/Deal area for a permanent Senior Residential Support Worker.

Main Duties
Will involve being part of a team offering a comprehensive residential service to children and young people, the aim being to ensure the physical, social and emotional care, and development of the young residents and the establishment and leading your shift as a senior.
The Specifics:
The role reports to the Registered Manager/Responsible Person.
Rate of Pay: £12.75 currently rising to £13.75 April 2024
Hours: Negotiable
Enhanced DBS
Holiday: 28 days paid holiday (full time)
NVQ Level 3 Diploma (QCF) qualified in Children Young People’s Workforce - essential
Minimum 2 years’ experience
Good understanding of the needs of young children in residential care
Knowledge of multi-agency working carried out within Children’s homes
Knowledge of Quality standards
An understanding of the principals of safeguarding and child protection
Promote the health, safety and wellbeing of children and young people
Reporting and recording to a high standard
Other Requirements:
Full driving licence is preferred
All Mandatory and specialist training to be attended as directed
Staff meetings and clinical supervision groups to be attended
Supervision to be attended as directed
