About the Role:
As an Associate Cost Consultant, you'll support project leaders in delivering high standards of service and achieving successful outcomes for our clients. You'll work on a range of exciting projects, including large commercial new builds for blue-chip clients, private residential developments, and local government frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide accurate cost advice and reporting
2. Deliver projects and professional assignments
3. Lead in setting objectives and priorities
4. Maintain effective communication for project success
5. Undertake commercial management services
6. Support team leaders in cost management
7. Build strong client relationships
What we're looking for:
8. BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
9. MRICS membership preferred
10. Experience in private commercial sector (offices, residential, hospitality, major projects, fit-out, refurb)
11. Expert in Excel and CostX (or similar)
12. Skills in sustainability and data (carbon assessment, Power BI)
13. Strong contract administration skills
14. Excellent communication and technical writing skills
15. Proactive, well-organised, and a team player
