Oak View Group (OVG) Rhubarb Managed Venues oversees food and beverage operations at some of the capital's most iconic destinations – including an immersive art experience at Frameless, the world-famous Royal Albert Hall, and the breathtaking Sky Garden with its panoramic city views. Bovingdon's Catering, our sister company, specialises in bespoke event catering and manages the acclaimed Flotsam and Jetsam cafés, bringing quality food and distinctive hospitality to both standalone venues and prestigious events. Together, we combine venue management excellence with crafted catering services, creating memorable moments whether guests are enjoying a casual café visit, attending a world-class performance, or celebrating at a landmark London location. We're looking for an exceptional Head of Retail to take ownership of our food and beverage operations across multiple venues. This is a role for someone who leads from the front, drives excellence at every level, and knows how to turn great standards into great profits. What You'll Be Doing You'll be the driving force behind operational excellence and commercial success across all our F&B outlets across London: Lead with presence – weekly site visits. You'll be visible, approachable, and actively coaching teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences Elevate standards – conduct H&S audits every 3-6 months and ensure compliance, service quality, and operational processes are world-class Drive profitability – take control of food and beverage cost management, share P&L insights with café managers, and identify opportunities to boost revenue and margins Build partnerships – act as the main point of contact for venue stakeholders, managing KPIs, gathering feedback, and strengthening relationships Champion collaboration – work closely with Rhubarb and OVGH teams to streamline offerings, optimize systems, and create operational synergy Inspire teams – be the leader people want to deliver for through your professionalism, energy, and genuine investment in their success Who You Are A natural leader who's approachable, personable, and commands respect by leading from the front Operationally excellent with sharp compliance skills and a track record of raising standards across service, training, and health & safety Commercially savvy – you understand the numbers, know how to control costs, and have proven experience driving profitable growth Proactive and present – you don't manage from a desk.
